Questions
How do I work out a room's area?+
Multiply its length by its width, measured inside the walls. A 12' × 10' room is 120 sq ft. For an L-shaped room, split it into two rectangles and add them.
How do I type feet and inches?+
Write 12'6" or 12' 6 for twelve feet six inches, or 12.5 for twelve and a half feet. With metres chosen, 3.8 is 3.8 m; 380 cm and 3800 mm work too.
Can I get the areas from a drawing instead?+
